Crazy Boss Story 2 by Zseni 03/08/2007, 11:57pm PST
At the office there were exactly one and a half gay people, and I don't mean one of my thighs and half of the other one.

The entirely gay guy was Volleyball Mormon Fag (VMF) with whom I did not get along until the very moment I'm about which I'm going to tell you. The half a gay person was also VMF (he was very gay.) He was very fucking gay, but because Evil Company did not usually truck in fags, he was an anomaly.

INTERLUDE ON HOW MUCH OF AN ANOMALY VMF WAS:

Once, in earshot of the company owner, the CO's son, my and VMF's boss, and the entire department, VMF and I had an entire discussion about bear, twink, and dyke bars in Portland, and the CO overheard us and said: "There's a bar in Portland for the Bears?" *blank look* "I'm a Steelers guy myself."

END INTERLUDE

Anyway everyone knew that VMF was gay even though the whole place had collectively less gaydar than Bill O'Reilly. Why did they know? Because Crazy Viet Boss told them.

Once she found out, she just started telling random people in the company about it. Even though VMF wasn't out of the closet yet. And even though, at the time, VMF had cancer.

Crazy Viet Boss and Asshole CO's Son used to make a lot of jokes about VMF being gay.

They used to joke about it with customers. And vendors.

One day VMF did something to piss off Crazy Miss Vietnam and she actually drew up a document and forced him to sign it in front of her. It was a kind of contract, a list of things the undersigned promised not to do anymore. Bullet points included Olde Tyme Favorites like

* Will not come back late from lunch.

Or:

* Will take responsibility for own actions.

There were a few novelties on the menu, however:

* No more bullshitting.

But the one that made VMF fax the document to his lawyer was:

* Will respect people of different sexual orientations.
