Re: M.I.S. degrees (Management Information Systems) (work story!) by Mysterio 03/21/2007, 10:59am PDT Before switching to electrical engineering, I spent a year doing MIS (I was so stupid back then that I thought it had to do with information theory). It's sort of a dumbed down CS mixed with low level management. I'm not totally sure what job it trains you for, but the classwork was completely idiotic.
