Is it because INC left? The first couple hours are amazing, all that great GoW fun jacked up to 11, then it gets a bit too much, then the jumping puzzles and bizzare adventure game puzzles set in. Kratos at one point has to jump back and forth on a wall in some insane version of those carnival shooting games. Then for the final ultimate battle: Blind read a bunch of button presses with less than a quarter second margin of error, when you miss, just start over, but first wait for 20 seconds of dialogue. Why would this ever be fun? "Hah, you didn't press the randomized button fast enough! Do it again!" I want my DVDR back.
I'll chalk up my time spent playing the game to a lack of taste and perverse desire for completeion, but SCEA definitely owes me 15 cents for the disc. |
