Is there such a thing as a high-power wireless router? by Willdog 04/20/2007, 6:25pm PDT
So at our house we use Clearwire and connected to their modem we've got a Netgear MR814 802.11b Wireless 4-Port Cable/DSL Router. My machine is about 40 feet away and I barely ever get a good signal. I'm using a Linksys WUSB54G network adapter. I'm thinking maybe a better quality router would improve performance, but I know little about those. Is there a router someone can recommend that I can buy that would improve wireless performance?

Also, I know Clearwire isn't great, but I don't that's the main problem.
