1. The first episode was a crossover with Mangum, PI. Jessica was staying at Robin's Nest while she was in Hawaii for some reason, then (suddenly) there was a murder. The police weren't very interested in investigating it because the victim was about to die of old age anyway so Jessica stepped in and Mangum, PI was like "holy shit baby, I'm going to watch your new show EVERY week." But she didn't bone the moustache off his face even though I could tell he wanted it and this cost CBS a little piece of my respect, not as big as when I found out they killed a story on 60 Minutes about cigarettes being bad for you in like 1989 though (NO BLOOD FOR OIL).

2. Like three episodes in one of the later seasons were written by the guy who invented Babylon 5. Later, on Compuserve, he said Angela Landsbury told him he was like a mysterious untamed white stallion. What the chubby beardo still doesn't know is that George Hamilton was waiting around the corner to high-five her afterwards.
