| For almost all of the game, Leon's response to everything is just "psh." They kidnapped the president's daughter? Psh. Your right hand comes off? Psh. Salazar tries to talk tough and then I pin his hand to a wall with my knife? Psh.
But then, Mike is shot down by some random zombie with an RPG, and Leon fuckin loses it when Saddler is all THAT MAN WAS NOTHING TO ME MUCH LIKE HOW YOU WOULD SWAT A BOTHERSOME FLY. Leon is all like HOW COUUUUUUUUUUULD YOU COMPARE A HUMAN LIFE (ESPECIALLY ONE WHO KNOWS A PLACE, SUCH AS MIKE) TO THAT OF AN INSECT, RRRRRRRRRRRRG MY PAOUR LAVOL, AMAZIIIIIIIIIIIIIING and shit. RE4 probably has the greatest video game dialog and story of any Japanese game in history. Better than all the MGS games, Xenosagay, Xenogears, and Final Fagtasy games, COMBINED.
