I walked away from this movie with the same impression I had from seeing "The Score." I was lured in by the promise of a heist flick, but instead was stuck for 2 hours watching Robert DeNiro's character getting a long slobbery blowjob.

He figures out that the redhead irish-accented employer of theirs is in the IRA. He uncovers the fake Ronin spy. He gives helpful advice on avoiding snipers to Jean Reno. He fucks the hot redhead from Solaris. He's constantly dropping tidbits of information about spy skills without anyone asking for them "I never enter a building without at least 2 exits." And he's SO GOOD that all the other spies just stare at him with awe or nod their heads with respect except for the evil russian ronin spy who seems to be sizing him up as a worthy opponent.

Plus this movie post-dates "Pulp Fiction" but has a line at the end where someone asks "what was in the McGuffin briefcase we've been chasing this whole movie?" and DeNiro says, "I don't know." JUST IN CASE WE MISSED THAT ONE.

On the upshot, it had that prick from the Lexus commercials get several bullets pumped into him in slow motion.
