Instead I can't help but to notice how the animation budget was high while the rest of the production values were low and how uneven it looks. This whole "reliving your childhood through old cartoons" thing apparently doesn't always work.


I just realized what THE HELL I'm talking about here: there are no synced up mouths and voices, most of the time they are just generalized mouth movements, for that one reason, something about voice actors getting better flexibility of delivery, and at the same time make the dubbing for other languages easier. Except it looks more like it was animated in another language first so it is just a fawkin mess.
