It this just the video game portion, or the whole damn FASA corp? by Mischief Maker 09/14/2007, 6:04pm PDT My 3 main impressions from way back in High School when I actually played pen and paper RPGs: FASA has the coolest settings and some great artists on call to bring those settings to life. FASA's rules are fucking ridiculous. We usually just fudged the rules anyway. FASA keeps the money rolling in by constantly introducing new sourcebooks with new crap that makes your existing stuff/characters obsolete. Your Street Shaman is a pussy next to the initiate you could be playing if you bought the Grimoire sourcebook. Your inner sphere mechs that came with the box are worthless pieces of shit compared to Clan Omnimechs. Too bad your Street Samurai already spent all his essence on cyberware from the main rulebook, the Street Samurai sourcebook includes Beta-quality cyberware that's just as good at 80% the essence cost. And once you've bought that there's another sourcebook with bioware that does everything cyberware does, only for half the essence cost. And does your decker have a shitty external cyberdeck? Well... etc.
