| Here is what the boss battle looks like for The Devil Went Down To Georgia. It looks like the least awesome finale in history. The battle mechanic looks awful, emphasizing the worst aspects of the game. Coupled with the unimpressive note charts on display in the demo, it becomes clear that had Neversoft made the original GH, it would still be a niche rhythm game with a novelty controller, in the same dusty corner as Taiko drum master.
I will still buy it, like a sucka, if only to get a better fake guitar than the xplorer. But I will do so grudgingly, shaking my fist at them for not making the most of awesome licensed songs. |
