I'm stationed a base in the US for training for the next six months. We aren't allowed laptops because there is no way to secure them. The only relief we have for using PCs is paying $7/hr at the cafe. There used to be a way for us to crash the program that counts down our minutes, but that workaround has been "fixed."
Does anyone have any experience shamming these things? I forget the name of the program that monitors/runs the thing, but it was like PAC or PRP something. We used to shut it down by viewing the source code of a web page, then open a file in the text reader, choose the hidden c:\program files drive. Then we would transfer the program folder to a different one, which crashed the program and still let us use the PC.
