I did try to download the demo twice and had it not work twice.
I ended up uninstalling it with CoD4, which I imagine would have been much more fun if there wasn't a graphical glitch making all my enemies look like they've been covered in oil. Maybe I had "political statement" clicked in the graphics menu? I probably would have played Crysis more if the lowest graphics setting (which my machine can totally run it on) didn't constantly make rocks and shit pop out of thin air. I figured I'd wait out CoD4 until it runs properly on my video card, and maybe Crysis when I upgrade my motherboard/processor. Though I'm sure that the powers are just as crappy throughout the game.
I don't even understand all this shit about the vehicles or their two brand new weakpoints(tires and gas tanks). I didn't have a problem with the vehicles in Farcry, and I don't have a problem with the ones in Crysis. It just seems like in Crysis they only keep you from using your awesome array of bionic abilities, maybe someone will patch in Maximum Overdrive? So you don't have to say the vehicles are better again, and I don't have to risk the serious consequences that come with you saying that again. |
