Check out Joomla or Drupal. They both have a registration & admin system built in, and I'm sure there's probably a contacts plugin for at least one of them. Plus you get a slick CMS. Drupal is more like a bloggyblog system, Joomla more of a traditional CMS. Both have e-commerce plugins you can add on later.

OS Commerce is OK - I threw together the backend for a store with it in a couple weekends. But it always feels pretty hacky whenever I've had to customize anything (inline SQL in the presentation code, weird html, funky templating system, etc).
