- In order to get it on with one of the female characters, you must always take their side, do what they tell you, and always give them what they want. As someone else already pointed out, this is a bi-polar shut-in's fantasy world guide to picking up women.

- Too nerdy to successfully interact with women, too scared to hire a prostitute. Without this knowledge, Troika was forced to construct fictional hookers with nothing to go on. The result is cities teeming with gorgeous $40 streetwalkers.

- Nobody at the company is hip enough to have ever gotten into an trendy/underground nightclub, so they just copied the ones from the Matrix movies.

- but they HAVE been to plenty of stripclubs. The authenticity and firsthand knowledge really shines there. You have the rails, the back rooms, the side couches, the idiot who keeps trying to touch the strippers, the fat greasy loser whose only female contact ever will be within these walls sitting there dumbfounded.

I just got to the part where the gypsy says, "It doesn't matter if you win the game, but if you bought it."

Insert a "can" in there, and I think that sums up Troika's approach to bugfixing right there.
