| The game was a McDonalds tie in for the Wii. The premise was that it was just like Trauma Center, only instead of operating on and saving people, you were doing it with food items from McDonalds.
The catch was that all these food items had been inside cars involved in fatal crashes. Every level I would stand in an OR and paramedics would wheel in crash victims, gurneys still wrapped in mangled metal wreckage, along with McDonalds food trapped within. The operating screen would come up, with orders from the chief surgeon flashing on the screen, "SAVE THIS DELICIOUS LUNCH!!!" Then the level would start and I had to use all the operating tools to pry the metal away from the McDonalds chicken pot pie(???!) before taking up the scalpel, making an incision on the crust, and carefully removing each chunk of chicken and vegetable, while touching the crust as little as possible but at the same time swishing it around in as much gravy as I could before extracting and eating it. A bunch more victims/food came in every level, but I only remember the pot pie. At one point the levels became so hard that the chief surgeon told me, "This next one's a wash. There's nothing we can do," to which I reflexively shouted, "I'M NOT GONNA LOSE THIS LUNCH!" and grabbed a scalpel plus defib paddles and went to work. |
