No, I agree. In-game tutorials were neat when they first started doing them, but now people are going overboard and front loading the game with tedium. Games should just go back to the old style of having TUTORIAL as an option on the main menu. Or at least not make it a requirement to start the actual game. I've played Zelda a million billion times. I know how the controls work, I know about lock-on, I know about horse riding, I know about the first-person bow and arrow, and I know at the end of the game I'm going to play ping-pong with Ganon. Can I please just have my adventure time already? And make the hookshot grapple onto more things and let me swing like Spiderman, fuckers. |
