Are we talking about doubling, as in, multiple tracks singing the same thing at the same time to create a chorused effect?
Or are we talking about somebody singing the chorus once and then sitting back as the same voice plays back again for the next chorus?
If it's the first you can do it with a delay pedal, or if you want to get really fancy you can use something like a Lexicon MPX-style box that has "doubling" algorithms which add a random pitch shift to the delay.
If it's the second, you can do it with a prerecorded tape a la Milli Vanilli, a tape recorded and played back in real time a la Mission of Burma, or you could do something live yourself a la Kid Beyond:
...if you need to do it live. But in post production, with today's recording tools, it's just a matter of copying and pasting.
