Well, I was talking about the Fang gamepad (but you're wrong about the g15 too) by Ray of Light 08/30/2008, 12:01am PDT In Winamp's "global hotkeys" you can bind the four multimedia keys to their respective functions. There are standard scancodes defined for these, and g15 uses them. You need software to use the display, and a separate software to use macro keys. Both of these softwares are baroque and clumsy, yet functional. The display backlight causes hum in my headphones (but not the speakers) when enabled. Your assesment of Logitech is nonetheless correct, in general. Here's a post in which I alluded to their portfolio-spanning awfulness.
