So it turns out that whether by bug or intentionally, only one player will get credit for beating the game when you do it as a pair. It will not be connected to actual skill displayed, damage done, or any variable I can discern. Much like some of the other odd interactions between coopers (the weapon swapping requirement to unlock for all players, for instance), it's just a rough edge on a very polished product. I guess this is the sort of thing everyone was raving about with Smash Brothers, except this game is actually good. |
