| The note charts are better, but after playing Rock Band and Rock Band 2 for a year straight, the art style makes my eyes want to explode.
Everything that comes out of the character creator looks inhuman in the worst way. All of those options and tweaks and every last one of them is ugly as sin. The interface is laughable. I can't believe this made it out of testing. It works like engineers designed it. I actually will play this long enough to unlock some stuff (unlike GH3), but this is about what I expected from Neversoft. If anything, it's more than I expected, because if you close your eyes and randomly flail buttons until you get into a song, it is actually fun (also unlike GH3). It's just everything that isn't actually playing a song that's excruciating. |
