| De-Loused at the Comatorium - Apparently from 2003 but new to my ears. Anyone else familiar? The people on the second-floor (I'm on the third) are about to be introduced to it. Hits all of my hot-buttons: Conceptual, reminiscent of old Voivod, Patton-esque tempo and structure changes, heavily layered, fantastic vocals and thrashing/peaceful. Outstanding, 8/10.
Back to those second-floor jack-asses: In one hour upon returning from driving my wife to work I will unleash the weapon I've been saving since I bought it at Thanksgiving: Big Polk sub. I guess they're in the christmas spirit and are therefore enjoying their cranked reggae which woke me from my afternoon nap. Enjoy kids, party's over soon. |
