Caltrops employs a Web 2.0 probation system by Last 11/12/2008, 12:57pm PST The moderators require user verification before a ban can be applied. Anonymous ban requests are not allowed as they lead to metatrolling and cyber-bullying. Rather than using an easily defeatable captcha, we use an unbeatable verification system wherein the offended user(s) simply email the moderator a photo or drawing illustrating the degree to which the offensive poster has diminished the offended user's Caltrops experience. The judging spectrum ranges from No Problems, represented by a smiling face, to Severe Unsastisfaction, represented with a frowny face. You must use a valid email account or your ban request will be IGNORED. Thank you.
