How to play Audiosurf. by Creexuls, a monster >:3 11/26/2008, 4:01pm PST
As received in a youtube message from youtube messaging. I hadn't asked anyone for these instructions and I didn't imply anywhere on the internet let alone youtube that I care. So I think this guy is wrom, or at least an identical approximation.

To play, you must "ride your music". Any song you choose who have an accompanying "Track" that you must traverse in order to score points. Along the way, you will see different colored blocks (depending on which character you're using). The most common type is blue, which mostly appears during calm moments in the song. Colors like red and yellow (which are worth more points) appear mostly during intense moments of your songs. To score points, gather groups of these block into (at least) groups of three (the shape, nor the size, doesn't matter) or "clusters". The bigger the cluster, the more points you earn. For more information, visit the in-game strategy guide.

I'd rather ram as many blocks as I can and overload so that everything buzzes and shakes, but thanks.

You lose points for that you know.

There are points in the game?

I think this would be a good place to end the post, BUT NO, but the guy wrote me a serious response.

Every group of three (of more) colors (or "clusters" if you will) nets you points. The purpose of the game is to go for high scores against those playing the same songs as you.

PS: As I was almost finished writing this post, every single field erased themselves for no reason out of nowhere when I was not typing, moving the mouse, pushing buttons, or anything.
