I remember renting The Shadow around the same time I saw The Phantom, I guess it would've been 1996. I remember thinking the latter was vastly superior for some reason (tighter outfit?), but that's about it. Oh! I also remember thinking neither one held a candle to Darkman, is that useful? No? Okay.
