| Can I get a review of Armored Core Nexus? I really want a giant robot-building game and the professional review whores are giving serious mixed signals.
I picked up the Mechwarrior 4 compilation and figured I was covered, only to discover that its two huge innovations were 1) hours and hours of FMV videos of the worst goddamn actors in the galaxy who gossip and joke and tell me that they juggle and all sorts of other worthless shit before finally sneaking in a crucial piece of information about the mission at hand in lieu of the no-nonsense briefings of Mechwarrior 3 and 2) an exciting new mech customization model that DOESN'T LET YOU CUSTOMIZE YOUR MECH! You are not placing a laser in that missile hardpoint, young man! Does it look like this mech has room for a PPC on that energy hardpoint? Didn't you listen to that dude in the FMV tell you that these mechs have already been customized to their optimal settings? |
