When the game throws you in the 20th century, sticking with melee weapons is still your best bet.
Mr. Kool
You get to carry over any magic weapons/armor you have equipped at the end of the medieval period. The armor and weapons there are better than almost any 20th century counterpart. All guns do bashing damage, which everyone have a resistence to. You get one or two really awesome magic swords near the end of the medieval period which are the best weapons in the game (I stuck with the one that sucks blood, Aurian or something).
If you have unlimited money though, the chainguns may be the best damage dealers. Just stand back and unload. I beat all those annoying one-hit kill flesh monsters on the last level that way. |
