I know it's an old game but it's the only one I can succeed at by letting it run in the background.
After defeating the tower, it's a mad scramble to create as many planters as possible to bring back trees before you run out of wood, but once you let them go for a while (note my wood score) you're pretty much set. The game from then on out is about harvesting food so creating more people doesn't take forever, but while also being careful to conserve as much stone as possible, because once it's gone, it's gone. If I had placed fewer buildings in the danger zone in the beginning and hadn't set up as many guard posts I believe I could have broken 600, but who knows how that would have gone, as the frame rate had already slowed to one per second. |
