In fact, it might leave you wondering why it took someone so long to pull off a game in this fashion, because the controls and perspective work so well. Binky (2:56:11 PM): the dialogue is hammy and thankfully brief Juh-howh Cable (2:56:18 PM): THANKFULLY Binky (2:56:36 PM): I have a friend who is a RE freak FOR SOME REASON Binky (2:57:11 PM): RE is much more like a comic book (A BAD ONE) than a horror movie. Binky (2:57:49 PM): You cannot move and fire at the same time, nor can you strafe from side to side as you can in a typical shooter Binky (2:59:16 PM): Though you can readily switch between a gun and your trusty knife at the touch of a button, switching between different guns (or using healing items) requires you to go in to the inventory screen. Juh-howh Cable (3:00:03 PM): It's barely a game. Juh-howh Cable (3:00:14 PM): It's a series of cutscenes and notes combined with fetch quests. Juh-howh Cable (3:00:39 PM): In order to fight enemies, you have to enter a code of proper button presses that turns and locks onto enemies and fires. |
