Yeah, I thought the new ending was as good as anyone was going to do, and I'd have cut the squid from a movie as well, but the effect is that it makes the Comedian seem a little silly for spilling his guts to Moloch Headroom. Instead of, "Aw man, they created this goddamn monster, the likes of which I've never imagined" (honks into handkerchief) its.. "Aw, they're gonna kill a bunch of Americans and innocent people, which I've, er, enthusiastically done myself."

Is this the thread where we talk about the movie? Everyone just seemed to like it, which killed off conversation quickly. =(
