INC: okay, I finished it INC: I do think she had reason to be scared INC: but I also think it's because she's a little nutso Erik: yeah, the Anne Coulter thing threw me for a loop too Erik: it almost seemed like she just stumbled across that in her research and didn't know who she was Erik: but, man, I'd be freaking out Erik: I don't care how tolerant I am Erik: 14 muslim guys acting weird on a plane is just too much INC: well, yeah INC: but then her crusade about metal utensils and how come the men weren't arrested at the end Erik: You could probably steal a butcher knife from the restaurant Erik: yeah, I wonder INC: look, I'm no racist Erik: you'd think it'd be easy enough to find what they had on the plane INC: but I really hate all muslims INC: a lot Erik: me too INC: I've even been to Israel a couple of times Erik: they could be more sensitive to the feelings of non-muslim travellers INC: which lends me some credibility on this matter Erik: and not act all suspicious Erik: you've really been to Israel? INC: really, I can't think of a reason all muslins should not be handcuffed as soon as they board INC: yes, and yes Erik: I didn't know that Erik: me too Erik: just half though INC: I keep it a secret INC: you went halfway to Israel? Erik: but the one half was serious about it INC: did the plane blow up halfway there? Erik: no, I wasn't actually going there Erik: is canada halfway? INC: pretty much Erik: anyway it was about half INC: I got stuck in Europe on 9/11 INC: so I consider myself a survivor INC: I had to stay in the Netherlands for an extra week Erik: I got stuck in canada INC: yeah Erik: which is like Europe INC: in Israel once, we were driving through this small town, an Arab town INC: this was in, like, 81 or 83 or so INC: when Israel was kicking ass and taking (Arab) names in Lebanon INC: one of the rare times Israel has been in conflict with its neighbors Erik (4:57:20 PM): heh INC: so anyway, we are driving through this small town INC: and there is a van parked in the road INC: stopping the bus INC: and our tour guide pulls out a pistol and starts to act a little anxious INC: but then some dude comes out of a building and moves the van and we drive on INC: so, I sort of survived a conflict with muslims Erik: whoah INC: then on the last night of our stay there INC: I got up at the dinner and made a long speech about Israel, ending with a pledge to come back and fight for Israel if they needed me INC: but I was only 13, and I think I had my fingers crossed Erik: good for you! |
