I know a guy who knows a guy who hands out domain space to interesting little people, and I proposed Cabaret Voltron to him, and he said he'd peel me off a chunk of bandwidth change to stick my little project on. So I coded up a few pages (grey on grey!) of stark, minimalist, ♥-esque literary forum loving, it's simple but alright, and I get a phpBBS forum to stick behind it.
So my questions are: is anyone here interested in opening up those files full of little gems that she just didn't fucking understand and posting them where other humans can see them, and how connected should a potential Cabaret Voltron be with Caltrops?
Stuff that would go on:
* Old Caltropsers will remember the arcane rulesets I would post to the Cabaret Voltron forum, none of which were ever enforced. They drove BDR absolutely apeshit insane, so of course they'll be coming back.
* Monthly/weekly contests (Best Poem On Feet, Short Story Using "It Was A Dark And Stormy Night." As Opening Sentence, etc.) with prizes! !!! (Actual live prizes, yes, mailed to your PO box by an actual live Zseni.)
* POETRY BATTLES, if you're man enough.
* Multiple layers of hidden identity, to shroud your soft, tender, bleeding hearts from the harsh mocking laughter of your Caltrops buddies.
* Actual discussion about actual literary works, including a (freely available online etext) book of the month reading circle.
* Forum regarding Lindsey Lohan's breasts. |
