| So I've recovered enough from my Bike Got Stolen trauma to start looking for another regular saturday night thing.
My previous and beloved bike was a Schwinn Voyageur and though it made me very happy, there were a few things I would have liked to change: the handlebars sucked a bit, I wouldn't mind the kind that are on touring cycles; I never used more than 5 or 6 gears (respectively: downhill, flat, a little bit uphill, kind of a lot uphill, last 100 feet up a fucking mountainside, clown) so I didn't really need the fuss of 21 gears; I would have liked a handlebar-mounted cupholder; it was too stealable. Some people have recommended single-gears and BMXs. That's fine. Please make your case for why here. Otherwise I'm looking at getting another hybrid or entry-level touring bike - pointers on these are also appreciated. Shitposting will be punished by sneak yaoi, helpful posts will be rewarded. |
