Hi there, I'm a noob. Nice to meet you all. I hope that I'm not a pretentious ass to all of you guys. So, I like video games, cartoons, action, stories of wonder, and I'm an artist writing up a story for my first comic. Today's Topic of Bitchingness: ANIME So, Anime. Jhoh likes it. I like it. But, there are things that bug the fuck out of me about it. It's not the Moe that's been coming out. It's not the DURR INSIPID STORIES THAT AREN'T AS GREAT AS CSI OR SOME OTHER SHIT ON CABAL TV OR SHAKESPEARE. It's not even the Fandom. It's what everyone thinks of it as, and not just the fans, but people too. Of course, I can't just blame it on people. Take a look at US history. Cartoons and comics in its early days, was liked, but as time went on, it stagnated, and to some that attempted to break boundaries and make something new, some shitbag pulls out some bullshit law or memetic idea that prevents its growth. Of course, some of it was a bit fucking weird, but, you know what I mean. For comics, it was the fuckheaded Comics Code. For cartoons, it was the homogenization of stories into kiddy shit and the bigger stuff was left for Disney to eat up- and apparently shit out and eat up again. For both, it was viewed as an ideal way to promote shitty toys and braindead ideas for children to gobble up and have parents buy products for money. The next thing is, the Animation is for Kids and Weirdos idea comes out. Of course, this does not pertain to all animation. But my main point: The Anime. Yeah, I know Anime is From GRORIOUS NIPPON, Anime is Japanese in Style and whatever the fuck it is you want to say. Maybe its just me, but when I saw Anime, I didn't see Japanese things entirely in the shows I watched. It's apparent now, but damn, wouldn't Excel, Konata, Usagi, or Botan make a great white girl to hang out with? (Of course, I'm Japanese myself, but pronouncing nationalities on the internet is like saying you're Ricky Martin and an astronaut- Who's gonna believe?) And that's not all. Take a look at Megaman Legends. You have Yuna and Sera- Best representatives of Africans in Anime. Sure, they're from a game, but that art style and story's pretty apparent. And while they're not culturally acting like Africans, it's better than fucking BLACK SAMBO. And then there's Gunsmith Cats, some of the best fucking Manga out there and just ended in April. Two female bounty hunters working in Chicago that have their way by shoot outs, explosions and wits- And they sure aren't Japanese. Maybe its just me, but I'm a bit fucking tired of ANIME = JAPANESE ANIMATION LOL WACKY. Maybe I'm just tired of the cultural and racial centricisms, where either Japan or fucking New York or Tokyo or whereever the fuck is popular is set in is THE GREATEST PLACE IN DE WARULD and that the Japanese Race is king (Hakkō ichiu means "All Islands of Japan under one roof, NOT THE WORLD." Stupidity and being pussies is why we turned evil and lost in World War II. that's a whole another lemon right there.) or where Japanese people are the most adept at all things or is where the entire enlightenment of the world is to take place (hahaha, BULLSHIT. It's the more of the fact that most first world countries are pompous asses that think that they're fucking genetically superior- Hitler rolls in his grave due to IRONY). And how does that previous paragraph fit in with my main point? Anime can't grow because people are pussies and those that see it hold fuckheaded stereotypes. This even includes those fuckbrained Anime Hipsters (not real fans, the sane ones) that you see either as a "LOL KAWAIII DESU NE I LIKEY FUCKY TIEM" or those smart asses that think that by liking Anime that isn't "mainstream" that it will make them popular. YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT, YOU FUCKING SUCK TOO. BECAUSE JAPAN IS BETTER THAN ALL OF THE WARULD BECAUSE IT HAS PS3S, NINTENDO, BISHONEN HENTAI AND YAOI RIGHT? FUCK ALL OF YOU RETARDED FUCK HEAD WANNABES AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH I need some Lucky Star and Rocko's Modern Life. And some Toshinden 3 and Megaman X6 STAT. |
