Why can't they make gluten-free Wheat Chex? by Tansin A. Darcos (TDARCOS) 02/09/2012, 12:06pm PST
I am really ticked off by this. Chex cereal mentions they have six different brands that are gluten free, but they specifically mention that the Wheat Chex is not. I mean, with all that technology gives us, you'd think they could find a way to take the gluten out of Wheat Chex.

("Paul, this is your subconscious. You do realize that it's impossible to remove wheat gluten from wheat? It's kind of like making steel that won't rust, or that doesn't need to use iron. Gluten is the binding that holds wheat flour together.")
What can I say? I love Wheat Chex, how am I supposed to eat it if it's loaded with Wheat Gluten?
("Okay, first, the word "wheat" in "wheat gluten" isn't capitalized. Probably the same for wheat Chex, only "Chex" is the trademark. Second, I have a question, are you allergic to wheat or wheat products?")
No, why?
("You only need to worry about gluten if you're allergic to it. If you're not, it's just another food product.")
Oh, I didn't know that, thanks.
("Listen, I'm your subconscious, you can't lie to me, I know everything. You're only doing this to make a silly comment.")
Yeah, and I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids!
