But, it's pretty fucking clear that Endless Space isn't exactly like MoO2. Go and read FoK's post and tell me that Endless Space is exactly like MoO2. Did you auto-resolve combat in MoO2, or was it the best part of the game? This game also has government approval ratings, the worst idea since fucking ever. GalCiv has approval ratings. I wonder if MoO2 has them?
