Google is getting rid of iGoogle by Ice Cream Jonsey 07/04/2012, 10:36am PDT
Of course they are. It's their one product that works well, and all they have done is make shitty decisions recently. Google was soooo proud of their hiring practices, too. Well, guess what: they've hired nothing but aspie social retards and idiot douchefucks.

The entire thing is great:

We originally launched iGoogle in 2005 before anyone could fully imagine the ways that today's web and mobile apps would put personalized, real-time information at your fingertips. With modern apps that run on platforms like Chrome and Android, the need for something like iGoogle has eroded over time, so we’ll be winding down iGoogle on November 1, 2013, giving you a full 16 months to adjust or easily export your iGoogle data.

There... isn't anything that lets you do what iGoogle does. It also had the benefit (for Google) of keeping their search engine nearby.

When I start my browser, I want to see RSS feeds of stuff I like. Google is too fucking stupid to understand how that has value.
