| I was able to purchase one (new, exclusive) review of an old graphical adventure game that I will be running shortly. I think you guys will get a kick out of it. Well, I got a kick out of it.
I am working on playing through an older graphical adventure as well. I decided to finally finish my backlog. It goes all the way back to the 80s. I promised myself that I would need to have 20 updates before I started posting them, so I wouldn't abandon the project. I have three so far, all of the same game. I've been keeping stats through Google Analytics since 2008. We used to get just under 400 unique visitors a day. That number is down to around 180. It really did slowly trend down over the course of four years like a boiling frog. I won't say "please be nice to new posters" because on an anonymous forum, who can tell who the new posters are? Plus, I would rather have the people reading and posting that we have now as opposed to a lot of tedious people. But I am going to try to get regular content on the front page and use social media more, so if you do happen to see more new posters, that's why. Thanks for continuing to read and post here. ICJ |
