The rule on rape used to be that she had up to intromission - the point she consented to let him inside her - too tell him to stop and after that it was not rape, even if she asked him to stop while he's been moving inside her for a while and doesn't, but now if she changes her mind he must stop within a reasonable period of her telling him to, which depends on what is happening. Normally this would mean a couple of seconds but if he is on the edge of orgasm he is allowed to finish. But if someone abused you and continued to hurt you after you told them to stop you should not continue seeing them. And if it actually was rape you definitely should break it off with them lest at some other time you have sex they rape you again. But if you continue to see the guy, date him, have sex, etc., you're clearly admitting it was something other than rape. Rough sex, maybe, but not rape.
Let's not trivialize rape by including that which is not in the definition. It is either penetration without consent or intercourse substantially continued after the person cries out for them to stop. If the guy takes 4-5 seconds instead of 1-2 to stop after you say so that's not really "rape" even if it's very inconsiderate. And if it actually was rape, you should break off further contact and certainly should not continue sexual activity with them. Continuing to have sex with someone absent threats or some other similar misconduct (blackmail, etc.) implies the sex has been consensual.
