I’ve been following the saga of Jeremy Charles DeWitt for several months now. This one YouTube channel has been on the story, with a dedicated playlist for this guy, making freedom of information requests and slowly releasing clips. The latest is the one that finally made me want to play this guy’s life as a video game. He’s the world’s biggest asshole, and he’s having a blast, what could be better? I wanna blast my horn and point my guy’s finger like this guy, careening through open world traffic, fucking up intersections. You can even hop off your bike and engage in dialog trees with the NPCs, screaming at people like this guy. This video has it all! Even starts with a musical number, set to Jeremy.
All you gotta know about this guy, arrested multiple times, didn’t matter all that much. There’s even a video of Chicago letting him off, thinking he’s some kind of cop. He started an unlicensed business to provide funeral escort services, where he employed a crew of police impersonators, which he controlled through the command interface. He is in jail today. Got the bad ending. Anyway, the way he was ultimately undone was his police body camera, illegal to use those when you’re on speaker phone. The cops confiscated his camera, then started watching all the other crazy shit he did.
