| The domain for this site is up to $45 a year thanks to Register.com being a piece of shit. I am going to try to move it to another registar. I am sure that will go smoothly, like everything else with register.com.
(I just tried to pay register.com for another year of hosting and there is a "problem with the order." At those prices there shouldn't be a problem with the order.) Dreamhost is charging me $5 a month indefinitely because the site doesn't work with the latest version of PHP. I have to figure out how to fix that and I am going to delete all the posts with racial shit in them that are towards the top of various bases because I will probably need to pay for someone to help trouble shoot it. (I just get an internal server error when I try the site on PHP 8 or whatever, and fuck them very much for introducing so many goddamn breaking changes between versions.) Dreamhost themselves as a host is wildly overpriced, but that's this whole other thing. |
