| Ok, short story is that in two weeks I have to decide what my concentration should be: Human Resource Information Systems or Management Information Systems. I've been leaning towards the HR one, but I'm having last minute jitters.
The fact is, I hate the standard clerical HR "hand holding" and paper-pushing, but I still love psychology and Human/Work interactions. Strategic Management or Operations Management would probably be my ideals (here's the problem, pick your people and solve it/develop a strategy), and my attention span is just short enough that I'm considering Consulting (preferrably International Consulting) to be my industry of choice. I'm wondering if anyone here has had exprience in either the HRIS or MIS areas and could give me some more information on them. TY -Cyrris My whole goal in life is to get to a position where I can one day shout "Johnson! I want that report on my desk NOW! That report was due on my desk at 9:00 this morning, 9:00 THIS MORNING!!" |
