Is this fucking true or should this be chalked up to the misunderstanding of a 50-something writer? Do "preppies" really put duct tape on their deck shoes and get all proud about it? What the fuck is that about? Can someone corroborate or explain this? Say, does this have anything to do with the super-clean grunge-revisited fashion thing I see at American Eagle? American fucking Eagle. Faux-worn faux-authentic middle of the road nothing clothes that will make you faux-cool. Well, at least you fit fucking IN. Whew! Another clothing purchase escaped without your image being jeopardized. I got off track there. I wanted to talk about the duct tape and plastic thing, and make a joke about how it's the new "duck and cover". Of course, I've been beat to the punch all over the place, including by this dead end of a woman who writes for the Arizona Republic: "Ha ha, look at me! I'm a fucking idiot!" Don't get too distracted laughing at her antics to miss this part: ------ It turns out that not even our intrepid sheriff has deployed defense maneuvers. "I have something more powerful than duct tape," he confided. "I'm forming my own counterterrorism program, which will be launched very soon. I'm just waiting for some high-powered equipment from Brussels to arrive. ------ Fuck, I'm dying to know about the high-powered Belgian counterterrorism equipment this Arizona sheriff is going to employ in his counterterrorism program. He's got a program! I can't believe he name-dropped "Brussels"! What if terror strikes BEFORE his Belgian defenses arrive?! HIGH POWERED?!?!? |
