| Ok, I've chosen MIS as my career path. Which means that, given my psychotic Obsessive nature, I must now learn enough to make a Fortune 100 Employer go "OMFG, plz to be giving you our gross income for the next 10 years if you work here".
Ok, actually I just need to learn Java like the back of my fucking hand for next semester. Learning VB really-fucking-well would be nice too. Which means I need books, lots of books. Or, preferably, just one book for each. One fucking good book that can take a person with NO programming experience (yes, I have some programming experience, but I'm not willing to hedge my luck yet) and make him so fucking good over the summer that, come next semester, the cute female MIS students will say "Cyrris, I will suck you off if you help me with this program". I'm also open to reading other MIS/programming related texts, but Java is my top priority. Any suggestions? -Cyrris |
