| Earlier today, I head back to my old guild's website (managed to attach myself to one during my AO days) to say hi and find out how everyone is doing. I find out that a married couple in the guild that I was friends with lost their twins-to-be in a miscarriage or something. Fuck. These are really incredibly nice people. Then, I call up my best friend who had left a message earlier to call him, only to find out that HIS BABY-TO-BE HAD ALSO DIED OVER THE WEEKEND. FUCKING GODDAMN FUCK. Then I remember the last friend who was having a baby. His wife went into early labor or something and was bedridden for like a month before she gave birth. The kid had MS and died days later.
And people wonder why I don't believe in God. Six good people lose their kids, and yet there are babies born, then tossed into the nearest dumpster to die a helpless death among refuse, all too often. Where's the fucking divine symmetry in that? How the fuck can you justify that with a "all things happen for a reason" or a "God has a plan". Fuck God and His Plan. Fuck any god who allow such things to happen. -/ES/- |
