To all my patients:

Effective May 30, 2003 I do not have a license to practice medicine in the state of Washington.

If you are taking medications, you will need find another physician to prescribe it. Internists and family doctors may write your prescription especially if you are stable on your current medications, or you may need to find a psychiatrist.

I have no specific recommendation. Every psychiatrist I know is essentially full.

I am continuing to teach people about my model for human behavior. If you want to learn more, call me and we'll arrange a time to talk. There will be no charge for talking to me.

I asked the state to take back my license because a patient and myself decided to have a romantic relationship. I told the state about the relationship (which was 5 days old) when drove to Olympia to give back my license. To my knowledge they had no prior knowledge of the relationship. Other "complaints" were filed, but the state told me that these were actually "concerns about my own mental health and that no one complained that I had done anything wrong or harmed anyone.

I am doing very well and have no regrets about my decision.
