| 1. Why hasn't the forum rules page been changed from #ga stuff to a general "NO PERSONAL SHIT" clause? It's been suggested by pretty much everyone and I don't see editing a simple html file as being particularly time consuming.
2. All of the admins need to quit being such chatty faggots about admin stuff. We don't need a play-by-play about bannings, and as you and others have mentioned, you don't have to justify your actions to anyone, so just knock it the fuck off already. Additionally, quit undermining each other in front of the children. This wouldn't happen if you just shut up to begin with, but if you can't do that at least take your domestic squabbles to email or a SUPER SEKRET ADMIN forum or something. This goes for the entire Council of Fags or whoever votes on shit or whatever. 3. This should have gone without saying, but QUIT RESPONDING TO THE FUCKING TROLLS. In case it wasn't fucking obvious, when you start trying to rationalize your actions to them - THEY'VE ALREADY WON! LORL HURR You're not going to lose face by just letting them have the first and last stupid flame. 4. Barbie, I know you're just trying to be nice and all, but stop it with the "we're donating the bandwidth and server out of our compassionate hearts" schtick. I think it's been pointed out a couple of times that there is enough interest here to come up with money from a bunch of the regulars if that's the issue. This is especially true if you want to keep touting the "we're a happy internet-nerd commune" line. Either this place is public and for everyone or it's your personal project that you're nice enough to let us play on. You can't switch between the two at your discretion. Holding over the heads of the people who aren't acting like shitheads is condescending and insulting. This bullshit drama sucks, but there is a lot that could be improved to head the shit-fountain off at the pass. |
