Time magazine, which we can all agree is a piece of shit, once reported back in the early eighties that the Glock 17 was constructed of ceramic and thus invisible to security experts.
Never mind that the entire upper receiver (slide, barrel, striker, pin, slide-stop, etc...) is solid fucking metal, never mind that the magazine spring and trigger assembly are as well. Oh yeah and the bullets are kind of hard to conceal. Just one of the many reason why I would not wipe my ass with Time magazine (some others: softness and absorbency).
John Malkovich did make an awesome "compound" two-shooter in that movie, the one that had Rene Russo falling for the 120 year old cowboy, that was pretty cool. |
