If you're coming out of a long term relationship, I recommend a rigorous regiment of watching Ghost World as often as possible and getting lapdances at your neighbourhood strip club.
There was a beggar on an offramp yesterday who was groomed well enough that I didn't know he was a beggar. Despite the fact that True Crime: Streets of LA has a colon and looks like a "me too" cash-in title, it's made by Luxoflux which makes me interested. Luxoflux made Vigilante 8, which was a Twisted Metal "me too" clone, and better than Twisted Metal in most ways.
Cutting back on electricity. In the wake of 8/14 the power grid here in Ontario is strained, and we hear about it all the time. "Please cut back on electricity for the next week". This I understand. What I don't understand is that AS MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS POST people are saying how it's good that we conserve energy anytime, not just now. IT'S ELECTRICITY, MOTHERFUCKERS. A renewable resource. Electricity is the last fucking thing we should worry about. While my air conditioning is off I spend ever more time in my (lovely) air conditioned car, using up fossil fuel and contributing to the destruction of air, clouds, the polar ice caps, and Mars. Better or worse?
I can drink 8293 cans of Coke in a row without incident, but sometimes one "regular" size fountain Coke hurts my stomach. Why?
I bought an Infocus X1 projector and it sits back 15 feet from my wall, which makes a 9 foot screen. The first game I played on it was the brand new Downhill Domination for the PS2. The 9 feet of eyeball stimulation combined with Downhill Domination's GREAT sense of speed and terror almost made me nauseous. (short review later today)
Rumour has it that the Dawn of the Dead remake zombies are fast moving. More like 28 Days Later, less like Dawn of the Dead. :(

It's where stocks that get kicked off normal markets go to be traded by fraction of cents, so if you've always wanted to buy Enron, you still can. Pink Sheets has the distinction of also not requiring companies to turn over any books, so devil corporations like Nestle voluntarily get traded on Pink Sheets. It's great.
After Israeli rockets blew up a Hamas leader's car today, Hamas declared that the ceasefire was over and there would be retaliation. Hamas, which proudly took credit for blowing up that bus a couple days ago. I guess that didn't violate the ceasefire.
