| All posts after this one are quite possibly not going to make the jump. Again, all posts after this one are in danger of being lost. I'll try and do one more copy this evening - and my all-caps warning post at that point will be the Hard Cutoff line. I'll be much more lenient about the rules ON THIS MACHINE AND THIS MACHINE ONLY (206.124.137.13) after the Hard Cutoff, but don't tempt fate TOO much (no massive Zseni spamming, please). The rules are still very much in effect on the new machine (64.246.36.69) until ICJ and the other admins have worked out what they need to be - we still have legal liability, etc., to look to.
This machine is going down HARD early PST Saturday morning after which ICJ is going to be your primary admin for 3-4 days. If Entropy Stew does not show up before Saturday, the DNS isn't getting switched over (UH-OH). When I have the site up you will be able to view it at 64.246.36.69. Remember that link won't be there forever, so in case of emergency you might want to write that down. God forbid you are horribly cut-off floating in space, my email is once again senor-barborito@NOSPAMzombieworld.com All bans will revoked with the new server. Who and what ICJ wants to ban isn't really my area of concern after that point, but rest assured I'll be keeping an eye on the new place at every relative's house or hotel I stop at along the way. I'd also like to take this moment to say that our current active coder, Creativepig, is a God whom we should all worship and who has done some great stuff for the new server. One of these new features will be appreciated by the users - we've been waiting far too long for it. The other two are a godsend for the admins. Bow down prostate before Creativepig, for he is the Alpha and Omega, the top spike on the Almighty Caltrop. [sic] In a concluding personal note, I have more work than I can handle in the real world today and tomorrow as it is - literally 18 hours worth each day followed by 3-4 days of 14-16 hours driving afterward. At this point we will be living with V's parents (with whom I do not always get along perfectly) until we can find a new apartment (V does have her same job, though). While I don't forsee myself blowing up yet, I just want to point out that I am under far more stress than anybody should be for the next two weeks. Go easy on me and the new server until then, please, as my nerves will be more than a little frayed and I've enjoyed my relative calm the past few months.
