I'm going to start telling people I single-handedly convinced id to cancel Darkness. It's going on my resumé.

2004-Present: Consultant for id Software
Scoffed and disdained a major title into cancellation. There was lots of PSHes and eye rolling.


Can I use you as a reference?

And even if Rage ends up being the worst game in the universe, it's still getting at least a 7/10 from me just for being bright and sunny and displaying more colors than an 8 color brown, black, and gray palette. If I don't, they might go back to turning out all the lights again. Permanently.
